Our staff strongly believe in the importance of a truly therapeutic and nurturing treatment environment and are handpicked according to their expertise, experience and concern for our students.Our shared goal is to positively impact the lives of the students and families who we serve. With a strong emphasis on both education and therapy, the Academy features a structured, therapeutic living environment, a fully accredited high quality education program, and a full range of group, individual, family and chemical dependency counseling.
Our Staff All therapists, teachers, and counselors working at the Academy are highly skilled, dedicated professionals. The clinical staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, therapeutic recreation specialists, clinical social workers, marriage & family therapists, and nurses. Each member of our school’s faculty is fully licensed to teach in their respective discipline. Our professional staff collectively provide a wealth of experience and knowledge. Our Facility
Our campus boasts a state-of-the-art education building and large comfortable dormitories. The education building has 11 full-size classrooms, a computer class with a computer at every workstation, a library, and a full-size gymnasium & fitness center. The dormitory building has large, comfortable bedrooms, multiple common areas, laundry facilities, and a large dining room. Students also enjoy a large outdoor recreation field, a sand volleyball court, and an outdoor basketball court.

Our Students Students are accepted to Logan River Academy from a variety of sources. Referrals come from educational consultants, private practitioners, treatment programs, school counselors, employee assistance programs, managed healthcare professionals, alumni parents and other concerned individuals. Students range in age from thirteen to seventeen and are in grades 8-12. Our students may be experiencing issues such as: Academic issues, Learning disabilities, Adoption issues, Nonverbal learning disorders, Anxiety, Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), Mild Asperger’s syndrome, Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), Attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD), Personality disorders, Bipolar, Post traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), Depression, Substance abuse, Impulse control issues such as:
